Terms for trades (Fixture Pro)
Version 0.1-draft · effective 11 Oct 2026
Using Fixture Pro and the directory: listings, prices, reviews, badges, invitations and Rounds Pro.
Who we are
Fixture Pro is run by [Company name] (company number [number], registered office [address]). Contact: [support email]. These terms apply when you use Fixture Pro for your business, list in our directory, or connect with households.
Your listing, menu and prices
- Your listing, services, prices, areas and photos are yours and you are responsible for them being accurate, lawful and up to date. Prices you show must be the total a customer pays, or say clearly how the price is worked out.
- We review listings before they go live and may refuse or remove one that breaks these terms. Gas and electrical services only show publicly while you hold a current matching Registered badge.
- Households who find you through the directory contract with you, not with us. You are responsible for the work, its quality, your insurance and any registration the work needs.
- You see a new customer’s first name, town and outward postcode until you confirm a booking; then the address they shared.
Reviews, replies and reporting
- Households can review you only after a completed job. You can reply once to each review and report a review you believe breaks our reviews policy.
- You must not write, buy, commission or incentivise reviews of your business or anyone else’s, or ask anyone to remove or change an honest review. Fake and concealed-incentivised reviews are banned by law.
- Only we decide whether a review is shown, always with a reason we record. Your rating appears once you have three published reviews.
Badges and evidence
Badges (ID verified, Insured, Registered) show what you’ve shown us and when it expires. Upload only genuine evidence. We may check it, ask for more, or remove a badge; a badge drops automatically when it expires, and services that need it stop showing. We never store identity documents; ID checks are done by our identity provider.
Fair use, blocks and response times
Respond to new customers promptly. We show a response label only when you respond quickly; a slow response is never shown publicly. You can block a household from contacting you through the directory. Don’t use the directory or join links to spam or harvest households.
Inviting your customers
- You can invite your existing customers to connect, by email from us or by text or WhatsApp from your own phone. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each customer, and for following the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations — only invite people you already work for.
- Each invitation is sent once, with one reminder at most, and expires after 30 days. A customer who opts out can’t be invited again.
Referral rewards
If referrals are switched on, you may earn a reward when a trade you refer pays for Fixture Pro Plus. Rewards for self-referrals, fake accounts or anything we think is abuse are void.
Fixture Pro Plus billing
- Fixture Pro Plus is a subscription paid through Stripe. The price, renewal and how to cancel are shown before you buy. You can cancel online in two clicks; it stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and your records stay readable and exportable.
- If you take card payments from customers through Stripe Connect, you contract with Stripe for that; payments go to your own Stripe account and we take no fee from them.
Your customers’ data
For the customer records you keep in Fixture Pro, you are the controller and we are your processor: we process that data only to provide Fixture Pro to you, under our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. For households who use the home app, each household is responsible for its own data and you see only what they share with you.
Responsibility, ending and law
We provide Fixture Pro with reasonable care and skill. As a business user, our total liability to you in any year is limited to the fees you paid us in that year, and we aren’t liable for lost profits or indirect loss — this doesn’t limit liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit. You can close your account at any time; we may suspend or close it for a serious or repeated breach. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
