What we checked

• The business owner completed an identity check with our identity provider: a photo of an official ID document and a live selfie that matches it.
• The name on the document matches the name on the owner's account.

Who checks it

Our identity provider runs the check. Fixture keeps only the result, the date and the provider's reference — never the document or the selfie.

How often

Once. We withdraw the badge if we learn the check no longer holds.

What it doesn't mean

• We don't inspect work. A badge isn't a guarantee or an accreditation.
• It doesn't say anything about the quality of their work, their qualifications or their insurance.
• It applies to the business owner, not to anyone else who works with them.

Something wrong?

If you think a badge is wrong, reply to any email you've had from us with the business's name. A person will look at it and we'll withdraw the badge if it no longer holds.
